Recognizing the signs or symptoms of an urgent health problem
Please confirm that you are not in one of these situations:
Cold, damp and discoloured skin
The skin of your torso, back or stomach is cold and damp. Your skin including your lips, tongue and gums is pale, grey or bluish.
Possible signs or symptoms of a heart problem
You have one or more of the following symptoms:
Signs of a stroke
Your face is drooping. You cannot lift both arms. You are having trouble speaking or pronouncing words.
Suicidal ideation
You are experiencing suicidal thoughts or behaviours.
Trouble breathing
You are having trouble breathing. You are panting or you feel a sense of suffocation.
Extreme fatigue or profound weakness
Severe or freely bleeding injury
Seizure
Rapid and sudden swelling of the lips, mouth, throat or tongue
